Schumacher Furs is conceding to the Kool Aid Drinkers and after over 100 years of doing business in downtown Portland, they are moving their business out of Portland. See story at Victoria Taft's blog.
We should be embarrassed and ashamed. All local Portland conservatives owe the Schumacher family an apology. We should have shown up and defended them against the terrorists. Come on, we've proven we know how to organize, annoy, offend and get things done. Next time let's do better, ok?
This whole thing is another example of how the SuperWimps in Portland's City Government are destroying the city. Businesses and families are leaving in droves. I wonder when the SuperWimps will figure out that those the people who PAY the taxes? Morons. Dumbasses.
Sick. Sick. Sick.

Thankful…
I guess first and foremost this year I am thankful to be ALIVE. Considering that in early August I came within about 20 minutes of checking out permanently, I am very thankful to still be here today.
Second, I am thankful for my husband. You all know him - he’s The Cheezer. He is my best friend, my lover and my partner in life. We are a team and though others have tried to pull us apart, the bond we have formed is impenetrable. Those who try to pull us apart get evicted from our lives. To quote a corny movie line… he completes me.
Third, I am thankful for the US military forces, their families and the veterans who served before them. If I ran this country, there would be a law that you have to stop and salute anyone you see on the streets dressed in a military uniform. Veterans would be treated like royalty and would not want for anything. Anytime I see a soldier or a veteran, I stop and thank them for their service. I hope you do too.
Fourth, I am thankful for my doctor and the amazing drug he has put me on. I am also thankful to Providence Health Systems who is picking up the $7000+ per month tab. Thanks to this new experimental drug, I am feeling better than I have felt in over 20 years. Remember, Providence is the only local large health care company in our area that has a cross in its logo. And they mean it.
I could go on forever with a bunch of little stuff I am thankful for but I cannot end this post without also acknowledging that I am thankful to GOD.
And of course I am thankful for all my blogger friends out there. We fought a good fight this year and although we may have lost the battle, the war is far from over. I look forward to fighting many more battles alongside all of you. And many more rain-soaked illegal alien protests!

Support Our Military this Christmas Season
Support Our Military this Christmas Season
In our household, the US military, their families and our veterans hold a special place of honor. So although we cannot afford to give very much, what we do give is centered around the military.
One event that we will be contributing to is KXL’s Toys for Military Tots drive. This is the 4th year of this toy drive and we look forward to helping bring a smile to the face of a child whose parent or parents are away defending our freedoms and keeping us from harm. You can drop off a toy at any Bi-Mart location. Or better yet, since they are helping sponsor the drive, go to your nearest Bi-Mart, purchase a toy (or toys) from them and drop them in the box.
A good friend of mine (who also happens to be a veteran) sent the following video to me recently. Be warned, if you are as emotional as I am about the US Military, be prepared to get a bit choked up. The video is a commercial from Anheiser-Busch and is the best commercial I have ever seen. Now if we could just get the damn Liberals to start treating our military with this much respect!

Potter's Letter
See Taliban-Tommy's letter here: http://www.portlandonline.com/mayor/
My questions for Mr. Potter:
What makes you think that the FBI would honestly answer any question that YOU asked them? You have already proven that you are no friend to their agency, the CIA or national security as a whole.
Are you sure they aren't trying to investigate YOU?
What are YOU hiding that would make any type of investigation by the FBI a bad thing?
My God, the city of Portland is just sinking as a society.

The Ballots are Here! The Ballots are Here!
The Ballots are Here! The Ballots are Here!
It's that time folks.... take out your shiny new pens and put that mark next to...
JASON ATKINSON'S
name and you are one step closer to being able to BELIEVE in Oregon again!!
But if your pen doesn't work and you have to buy a new one, don't buy it from a company that employs and/or supports the immigrant felons!

I’m Sorry You Felt That Way….
US representative Cynthia McKinney of Georgia issued a brief apology today from the House floor in regards to an incident that occurred on March 29th.
You can read the full story here.
Since her initial accusation of racial profiling did not seem to be working, she lowered herself to issuing an apology. Of course her statement was not a apology for her actions, but rather a statement of regret that she was misunderstood.
Apologizing for how their actions are perceived rather than for their actual actions and/or behavior is such a trademark of the liberal mentality. Regardless of whether they eventually “apologize” or not, nothing is ever their fault and they are always the victim. When in doubt, blame the Bush Administration, right?
Oh and here’s a shocker: Ms. McKinney is a demoncrat.

Interesting Numbers
From an email I received….
The next time you hear a politician use the word "billion" in a casual manner, think about whether you want the "politicians" spending your tax money.A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.C. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.D. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.E. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New Orleans - It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), is presently asking the Congress for $250 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans.Interesting number, what does it mean?Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, child), you each get $516, 528.Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your home gets $1,329,787 Or, if you are a family of four, your family gets $2,066,012.Politicians in Washington, D.C. !!! ...Are all your calculators broken????Maybe everyone should just flood their houses, then we can all be on the "big easy" street for the rest of our lives, and forget about working, and paying taxes and all that useless stuff!
